I saw something on TV, where a woman recommended a solution of water and vinegar to repel fleas on cats. Has anyone ever heard of that? Does it actually work?

Can Advantage Flea Treatment for Cats and Rabbits Be Used on Dogs?
Which works best for my indoor cats? The Advantage will come in one month supply costing $12.00 and the Promeris will come with three month supply costing me $36.00, so not much difference in price, but I want something that will work.

Can Cat Fleas Transmit on Humans and Take Them Home With You?
I do not wish to use chemicals as there are children and animals around. I have looked online for natural methods to kill cat fleas. I tried the lemon juice and it didn't seem like it did anything. I have tried to flea comb them and then put the fleas into hot water to kill them. That works but is a never ending battle.
What is a sure fire item that is natural, that I can use on the cats, couches and carpet to get rid of these fleas once and for all? Let alone to prevent them from coming back.

How to Get Rid of Cat Fleas?
I am looking for ways that I can get rid of my pets' fleas and ticks. With the heavy rain that we have had in TX the fleas and ticks seem to be out if force. They have since infested my outside dog. He is perfectly happy staying outside so he refuses to come in. My daughter and I noticed the other day that ticks have attacked him. He's rather large and sometimes rowdy so he doesn't like to stay still long enough for me to take them off. Since I have to bath him outside I need something that I can put together from house hold ingredients and/or that won't make my dog or his area sick. I have the same problem, minus the ticks, with my indoor cats. Any help would be really appreciated.

What Is an Environmentally Safe Way to Get Rid of Your Pet's (Dog and Cat) Fleas and Ticks?
I used Advantage on all of the animals about a week ago, however I dont think it worked that well. They are scratching still ( not as bad ) and one of my Day Care kids was sent home from school today because of flea bites! Just want to know if I re-treat my house is it safe to dip them since they just had Advantage?
I have already treated my house twice! And I no longer have the Advantage box.

Is It Ok to Flea Dip My Cats and Dogs After I Already Used the Advantage Flea Treatment?
One of my cats has fleas while the other two do not. I was wondering if it was safe to give all 3 flea tablets even if the other two don't have fleas to stop them from getting them.
I know that it's unsafe to deworm a cat who doesn't have worms so I was wondering if the same applies to flea tablets.

Is There a Difference of Dog vs Cat Fleas?
Okay, I know basically what to do here. I took in a kitten for about 4 months and I guess she had a mild infestation because last night I noticed brownish fleas jumping on me and biting me. I gave away the kitten a couple weeks ago.. as far as getting rid of the fleas goes am I wrong in assuming that since I got rid of the kitten extermination will be easier? Do they need the cat in order to live? Should I still "bomb" the house with pestiside stuff? I was planning on just getting a new vaccum today and maybe some carpet powder... So basically Im saying whats the fastest way to get rid of these.... suckers. and will i still have a problem if I do bomb and vaccum..since I no longer have a cat? (or a dog..) IF I bomb am I going to have to wash everything afterwards?
thanks.
